That's Jazz!

Jon just learned this new song a couple of weeks ago. He is still working out the kinks and he wants to enter a piano competition with this one. He loves that jazzy feel. What do you think?

We have not posted in 2 months, and just for the record, we are still alive. We want to personally assure everyone that we did not die in a burning house, fatal car accident, or any sort of freak tea party incident.

Jon's first piano recital!!!

Jon had his first piano recital ever last week and he did great! He is really taking off with the piano. He loves it and plays every day. I love to have music in our home on a daily basis!!! He was quite nervous on his first song which was "Hedwig's Theme" from the Harry Potter soundtrack. His second song, and by far his favorite, is "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven. He loves the classics. I hope you enjoy! Go Jon!!!

Mommy will you teach me how to sew?

You betcha! So, Jon wanted to learn to sew. He actually did a great job! His first sewing project was a pillow he then gave to his favorite teacher's son Blake. We love Ms. Tillery!!!

P.S.-I had no idea I was uploading that picture of Jake on this post and I don't know how to get rid of it. I try... It is kind of funny though.
