Pinewood Derby

Jon had his Pinewood Derby at church tonight and had a blast! We won't talk too much about how fast his car was, but we sure can talk about his first place award for "originality (two years running)." Here are a few pics from the event...

SNOW in North Carolina!

On the day of the inauguration, we got snow! I am sure it is a sign of change.
We have had so much fun this morning playing in the snow.
So much for global warming...

My version of our Christmas adventure! by Meg

Jake so graciously posted about our Christmas fun. He did great, but I thought some things were missing. Plus, Kendall and Mary might appreciate a normal picture put up of them. I am not as clever as Jake, so I will just put a bunch of pics up. Enjoy!

A Christmas Story

What a great holiday season! So many wonderful things happened this year that there is just not enough room on this Al Gore created information sharing system to fit it all. So, we have decided to narrow it down to our very own Twelve Days of "favorite things that happened over" Christmas! Here you go! Please enjoy:

1. We got to put up Christmas Lights

2. We got to participate in a live nativity

3. We got to have 4 of our favorites with us for Christmas.

4. We got to put up with a cripple who decided it would be a good idea to cut open his ankle on Christmas Eve.

5. We got to go to a fun museum where all were able to build and play.

6. We got to be destructive at said museum.

7. We got to spend time with this gorgeous being!

8. We got to open up the most wonderful Christmas present.

9. She got to open up the most wonderful Christmas present.
10. We got to pretend that we love the Longhorns!

11. We got to do things that could get stuck that way forever.

12. We got to ----- who is that?

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope your new year is great!

In case anyone does not recognize 2 of the above mentioned people, here are 2 pics of our brother and sister (in-law) who were with us. These are the ONLY pictures we took of them while they were here. We have 400 of their kids:

Interesting, in our only pictures of them, they are holding one of their boys. Does that mean that the boys are their favorites, or are they the most troublesome? Only time will tell.

We had a BLAST in AZ for the 4th! Jon had fun with his cousins! It was GREAT to see Jaime, too!
